BUSY
We've been so busy lately that I haven't even had time to blog! From running around with the kids to ... When I am on the computer I'm searching for houses which is exciting but time consuming and draining. Prices are horrible around here and you don't get any property for the money you pay. All the nice houses are at least $350,000 to $400,000 Some of those dont even have any type of yard people! So it's kind of discouraging. But the right house is out there for us we just need to learn how to be patient. It's really hard though. I'm sure any of you who are shopping around or have bought a house can relate. Mrs. Flinger! Leslie, are ya feelin' me?!!! So I'll be back soon. But thinking of all you lovely ladies out there. Really, I am :0)

; )
Hey stranger! Good to have you back! I hear you on the househunting. On the one hand it's so exciting, but on the other incredibly frustrating trying to find the PERFECT home with everything you need at a reasonable price (especially nowadays). Townhomes don't have a decent enough sized backyard for kids, and a lot of new homes don't either! What is wrong with people?! Children need a yard to run around in! Melinda's right... aside from interest rates it's good time to be a buyer because people are having a hard time selling right now, so you'll pretty much be able to get what you want (i.e. closing help, or a couple grand off the asking price). You're lucky you don't have to worry about selling at the same time! How soon are you guys looking to move? Can't wait to see new home photos! Have you checked out www.homesdatabase.com? That's my favorite househunting site. Good luck!
Good to see you're back! Yes, house hunting is so draining. But totatlly worth it. When you find the right one, you'll be glad you searched for a while. My hubby and I took a full year to find the house we are in right now and got a scream of a deal. (Of course, it was a fixer-upper and we had four months of renovations...but it was most definitely worth it.)
So good luck to you! Hope you find what you are looking for sooner than we did!
We came here for a weekend, found a house, bought it, and moved in a few weeks later with a three-month-old. Fun! It is a process that becomes an obsession. But I want you back! and obsessed with me me me! Kidding...
Yay for house hunting! Sticking in the same area?
I miss you, I have been feeling run down lately so staying low-key. I keep meaning to scan some pics of us and post them. If I ever get around to it I'll let you know so you can enjoy the flashback.
Need to get together sooooon!
Too bad you don't live here, I am trying to SELL A house for much less than that!! Good luck in your search!
You go girl! And hey! I know a house you can buy!!! ;-)
Its amazing to me the cost of houses these days. I mean you know they aren't built as good as the older houses. I know this cause my cousin bought a new house and she's had to rewire, replumb and reroof it already and its just five years old. This house is 33 years old and plumbing is good, Wiring is good. Just need to do some rerouting. Roof was good for 28 years til a hail storm messed it up. My grandpa had it built and he didn't pay over 100,000 for it. I would have to check the amount he did pay but you can bet if we ever sold it we could get 150,000 plus out of it.
Good luck and congrats.. I wondered where you went!
oh good luck on finding a house!! i'm lucky houses are cheap where i live!!
mkay...found a house yet? because i'd really like to read your blog. (because as you know, this is all about me!) LMAO
