You are not going to like this, but in the interest of discourse, here goes.

I have met George Tiller. I have referred people to him who had lethal fetal abnormalities diagnosed late in their pregnancies. I don't agree with everything that he does, but I do think that he provides a service for some parents who are in heartbreaking situations.

I can't imagine being raped and conceiving a pregnancy. I can't imagine being told that my baby doesn't have a brain and won't live outside of the womb.

This is one situation where I really think you can't judge unless you've walked in the shoes.

I think that is just terrible. There are just a lot of things wrong with that situation.
This a thing I've thought over and over about, especially when there are difficult situations like women pregnant by rape, and babies who are already virtually dead. The one thing I keep coming back to- is that no matter which way we look at it, a human life is being killed by another human, and that is just not right.

Just so everyone knows. I am not judging the women here. I pray for them and my heart goes out to them. I'm judging the decisions this doctor is making and how the woman being interviewed is so desensitized like a robot and totally avoiding the questions being asked.
