Tell me why my kids will not eat mashed potatoes, but they'll eat tomato & lentil cous cous like it's going out of style?

It is hard for me to believe that my granddaughters do not like mashed potatoes! Cause this family loves any and every kind of potatoe in the world! It must be the texture.
They are just too refined for ordinary mashed potatoes unlike my potato fiend :)
Hannah doesn't like mashed pot either. "Strange"
