We decided to put up a tree even though we're moving in like a week. I wish it just folded up like an umbrella and we could open it back up at our new house. Notice the spackle marks on the wall. Another reminder of the sanding and painting we still have to do. Although I doubt I'll actually be doing any of that!

What a great mom you are to have gotten a tree with all you have going on! We moved into our new home 5 days before Christmas and didn't bother getting a tree at all that year. Granted, Emily was only 7 months old. We'd never get away with that now! Good luck with the packing! I'm sure you're so excited about the new home. Can't wait to see pics!
My brother in law moved a lot as a kid and there were times they would put the tree on the roof of the car, lights and decoration still attached and drive to their next location. Kind of sad, but they got tired to taking the tree down each time they moved.
