PICCIRILLI PARTY

So today we headed downtown to Baltimore's own Little Italy. Every year My husbands family has their annual Piccirilli/Nucci christmas party at The Little Italy Lodge. If anyone knows Baltimore it's right behind the bocci ball courts. Anyway it's always so much fun. We go to mass at St. Leo's and then head to the party afterward. Aaron's family helped build that church and his dad grew up there. Man, we've heard some stories.Piccirilli's actually help build the Lincoln monument. We say " How many bodies do you think are buried under there?" We joke about why the Piccirilli's were all masons. HMMMM, where do they find most mobsters bodies. In bridges and concrete. He has an Uncle Weddy and an Uncle Lefty. They pretty much run the party. It's a blast, full of GOOD food and good music! Santa pays a visit too and hands out gifts to all the little ones running around! Theres always new additions and it's great to see how much all the kids are growing. Even the big kids get money. If your not married , you get money. Everyone dances and has such a good time. This year I chose to buy a pointy pair of shoes from Target. Wrong choice. I love pointy shoes but I pretty much had One big toe on each foot after the party ended. They sucked!!! It's worth paying more money for shoes like that. Gianna was a busy bee of course and we took shifts chasing her up and down the room the whole day! All in all it was so much fun. But I always wonder why they have the same under cover police officers working the door each year? Seriously. I think their on payroll ;0)

Glad you all had a great time. Those stories are good ones - Piccirilli & Nucci! Sounds like mobsters to me.
