I kept calling Gianna to come downstairs and she kept saying OK. So finally I went to get her. I found her like this in my make up bag. She must have been reading my IN Touch magazine with Angelina Jolie on the cover. They start looking up to these celebs so young nowdays ;0) I guess I should keep better reading material in the bathroom!

PRAYERS NEEDED

I ask everyone to please pray for my friends little girl. She is three years old and was acting a little clumsey. They took her to the doctor only to find she had a lime size tumor in her brain. They opperated and the doctor said it was a monster. They find out soon what kind of tumor they are dealing with. They just did another MRI and found there are cancer cells all down her spine. It was described as if someone took paint with a brush and splattered it. I just feel horrible for this family and I'm praying for a miracle. As a lot of you know my father passed away from a brain tumor three years ago as well as my best friends dad a few years before him. She is very close with this family. So prayers all around. THANKS!

Free Time?

Wow, I feel like the only time I get to get on this computer is to let the puppy chew on my high heels, or curtains or childrens ankles. You think I would be talking about my children but no. The puppy is consuming my life. Would someone also tell me why it took me getting a puppy to realize how easy it is to cook with a crockpot? My mom tried to tell me this when I first had Hailee 5 years ago. I should have listened. You can basically cook everything in there. Good for cooking comfort food. Don't get me wrong I love grilling in the summer. I could eat a quarter lb Hebrew National hotdog everynight (Healthy huh?) But theres something about pasta and roasts and mashed potatoes come fall and winter. What is it lately about food. It also consumes me. I love to freaking eat, thats my problem. Always have and always will. I've been pigging out all summer and now need to lose 10lbs instead of 5. I plan on getting pregnant soon and with both pregnancies I gained 60lbs. Even though I vow to myself this time I'll eat less and just gain the recommended 25-30lbs. History tends to repeat itself and I am a repeat offender :0( My plan was to walk with Gianna when Hailee is at Kindergarten. I did walk today but I also had beef stew for dinner and I washed it down with a huge blackbottem and pumpkin spice latte(decaf) from Starbucks. Where is my willpower. I have NONE when it comes to sweets.

Enough about that. Hailee is doing great in kindergarten and she loves her teacher. She goes where she went to preschool and instead of the public schools she only goes 9am-1pm. Not to mention theres only 9 kids in her class! Plenty of one on one time. So I have no complaints. We're working on learning to read so if anyone has any suggestions what worked for them, I'd love to hear them. Well I must go get the dog from upstairs before she leaves a GIANT size hershey kiss for me :0)

Slacker

Thats me. Look how long it's been since my last post. I guess nothing interesting has come up. I'll tell you what did happen a few minutes ago though. I picked my puppy up because she was running around like a maniac and when I did the little terd looked up at me and took a bite right out of my boob! My aereola if you will. Not a chunk or anything but she did leave teeth marks! Can you say OUCH!!! This milk has long expired. I guess she was taken from her mother too early.

Anyway I've been so anxious lately! Not mentally but physically. if any of you have ever had panic attacks maybe you can relate. It seems to happen when I'm PMSing and in the middle of my cycle. Say, when I ovulate. I've felt anxious all day. Like I feel strange then get a rush of adrenaline followed by shortness of breath then weirde pains in my body which makes me think of everything that could possibly be wrong with me medically. How am I supposed to try to conceive if I'm an anxious mess when I ovulate?! I think I need to get out more. I don't take enough time to just go grab a coffee by myself or do anything by myself. Tonight I'm going out with my mom. So at dinner I'm going to order a glass of wine and just enjoy it. I sound pathetic. Oh well.

HELP!

Somebody please help us. Our puppy is CRAZY! She's only 8 weeks old and she won't stop biting. I know, I know puppies chew on everything but she jumps only at our skin. She wants to rip it to shreds. She's sweet but once she gets wound up she will not stop, the little bitch(literally). She's breaking skin. I don't understand it. I've been around puppies but never one this aggressive. Maybe she gets fearful or something. We tried tapping her on the nose, giving her an alternative to chew on, hell, I've even tried yelping like a dog to make her think I was in pain. It's just frustrating. She goes this week to the vet to get her second set of shots so I'll ask him then. Any suggestions would be MAV-A-lOUS!

Ok, I had to post this picture that I took a few weeks ago. My neighbor came to my door screaming. I thought someone got hit by a car! No when I got outside I found two of the biggest moths in the planet bumping uglies on the garden hose next door. They were, I kid you not, as big as a bird. Notice how small the garden hose is in comparison. They are the largest moths in North America and the technical name for them is CERCROPIA.

Other than mating insects, we've been quite well. We took a trip to Connecticut this weekend. Drove 5 hours with two youngsters and an 7 week old puppy. Not fun. But it was so good to see our friends and we were honored to become their newest additions god parents! They are such great people and boy did I feel bad when puppy took a crap twice in their new home.
